Article 6 of the Paris Agreement Implementation Support in Thailand
We support in the implementation of Article 6 for host country governments and development organizations
As part of a consortium within the SPAR6C program (Supporting Preparedness for A6 Implementing Countries) providing support to four different countries we contribute to the improvement of the readiness of Thailand to engage in Article 6 transactions.
Our team of experts has extensive led work in Article 6 government policy support and private sector support, and is currently leveraging this experience to support Thailand as part of this project led by GGGI and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany (BMWK) through the Internationale Klimaschutzinitative (IKI).
Project Summary
We undertake tailored technical assistance and capacity building activities for government decision makers and other national stakeholders
We support Thailand with the configuration of medium- and long-term emissions planning, governance framework development (including the design of strategies, regulations and institutional arrangements), and the development of mitigation activities that can generate Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes (ITMOs) under Article 6.
